Artificial Grass Liquidators was honored on Friday, December 12th, by the Los Angeles City Council. During the council meeting, council member, Felipe Fuentes, recognized AGL for donating replacement artificial turf and installing the turf for Tujunga Little League. The little league players were left with no where to play baseball after thieves had stolen the turf from their baseball field.
After hearing of the incident, AGL, moved into action to replace the artificial turf field for the kids. It is very unfortunate that there are people who would steal from children. As a result of an act like this, the children are ultimately the ones who suffer. Every kid deserves the opportunity to play baseball. The Tujunga Little League had made that possible by initially installing the artificial turf over a rocky area so that the kids had a safe place to play. It was difficult enough to raise the money to install the turf the first time around let alone a second time.
AGL replaced all the stolen turf and installed it for the kids free of charge. Now the kids have a place to play baseball and hopefully a renewed belief in people. AGL feels that it is important to give back to the community and to help out when you have the resources to do so. AGL has been very blessed and was able to help out this situation.
