This past week, AGL sent word that it was going to be giving away free artificial turf to anyone who had a truck or trailer at their disposal. The result was much more than we had anticipated: dozens of trucks and trailers came to pick up their free turf and caused quite a bit of traffic congestion in the surrounding area. There was even an altercation between two people fighting over a roll of turf and the police were called in to keep order!
The turnout that we received was what AGL believes to be a testament as to how the artificial turf industry is booming; this, coupled with consumers’ new found awareness in conservation in the wake of California’s drought, it’s no wonder why people were lining up in droves to get their hands on artificial turf.
