Looking to cut back your water usage with water wise plants this year?
We wanted to celebrate Water Wise Wednesday by sharing a helpful article containing over 100 water wise plants. The collection contains a diverse group of plants, including both native and non-native to California, so be sure to read the descriptions for details.
Water Wise Plants
Succulents and native plants are able to thrive in arid conditions.
Homeowners are incorporating more water wise plants in effort to reduce their water usage. We strongly encourage you consider doing the same, as it helps save money for you and water for your state. The more we work together to conserve water, the more likely we’ll be able to avoid future water crises.
The goal of the Santa Clara County Master Gardener Water Wise Garden is to find beautiful native and non-native ornamental plants that will thrive in our summer-dry climate and clay soil without a lot extra work.
