Climate change isn’t just an idea.
It’s a serious matter playing out before our eyes and its on a trajectory to change the world as we know it. With rising temperatures year after year and, more recently, the ongoing drought devastating communities in need of water, it’s clear we need to do something about it.
“We find that individual record years and the observed runs of record-setting temperatures were extremely unlikely to have occurred in the absence of human-caused climate change,” the authors say. “These same record temperatures were, by contrast, quite likely to have occurred in the presence of anthropogenic climate forcing.”
The more you can reduce your carbon footprint, the more helpful you are to the environment.
Reduce your carbon footprint by recycling materials, carpooling to work, and avoiding power tools that run on gas, like lawn mowers and leaf blowers.
