Artificial turf from Artificial Grass Liquidators was featured in Jiffy Lube’s “free oil change for life” promotional commercial. During this promotion, a Jiffy Lube customer gets the opportunity to take a shot at a soccer goal. If the customer is successful and makes the goal, they will win free oil changes for life.
The Jiffy Lube employees set up a make shift soccer field in the parking lot of the store. The pretend soccer field was complete with artificial turf, soccer goal, bleachers, and the Sacramento Republic FC, an American professional soccer team based in Sacramento, California.
A Jiffy Lube technician invites some customers to participate in the promotion. The unsuspecting couple agreed to take a shot at making a goal for the chance to win free oil changes for life. As they exit the building out to the parking lot they see the staged soccer field and the professional Sacramento soccer team.
The gentlemen takes a shot at making a goal and Patrick McLain, Republic FC Goalie, stops the ball from entering the goal area. However, after he stops the ball, he then tosses the ball into the net and the couple wins! They will receive free oil changes for life.
